Annual Conference of Catholic Psychologists will be held at Nav Sadhana, Varanasi from 19 to 21st September, 2009.

Children with Special Needs: Understanding and Helping Skills is the theme of the Conference.

Dr. Indiramani Lsingh, Head of the Department of Psychology, BHU, will inaugurate the Conference on 19th morning. Delegates from all over India will attend the conference and contribute in the discussions.

Mimansa Popat  will talk on the topic: Understanding the Nature of the Problem  - LD-Dyslexia / Dyscalculia / Dysgraphia / Dyspraxia / ADHD / The Slow Learner with information on formal and informal assessment techniques and intervention ( Helping Children and Families Cope).

Suzanne Rodricks will speak on the Needs: Theirs and Ours: Understanding the World of Special Education.

Jose Puthenveed will facilitate the conference on Psychosocial Problems of Children in School  and  Behavioral Approaches to School Intervention.
